Booktubeathon 2016 » Wrap-Up

Sound-1

That's a wrap on my first ever read-a-thon! I had a ton of fun doing this, though I wish I had had the time to participate in the booktube community. I mainly stuck to reading and reviewing which is what I generally do in my everyday life.

Next year, I shall be better! I announced my TBR here. Let's see how I did!

For those who didn't keep count (and I don't blame you), that makes 6 books.

These were the reading challenges I meant to complete (blue for complete, red for incomplete):

  1. Read a book with yellow on the cover: Imprudence

  2. Read a book only after sunset: The Butterfly Garden

  3. Read a book you discovered through booktube:

  4. Read a book by one of your favorite authors: Imprudence

  5. Read a book that is older than you:

  6. Read and watch a book-to-movie adaptation:

  7. Read 7 books:

3/7 isn't spectacular but I was pretty distracted with real-life concerns this week. I look forward to doing this next year and actually participating in booktube!

Happy Reading, everyone!

  1. Wow. Six books in one week. That is worthy of a celebration. I always struggle with challenges which make me think I have to read a book I wasn't planning on reading in the first place. I have so man on my list already, I would grumble if i had to root around looking for a yellow book, for example. But i congratulate your accomplishment.

  2. You get EXACTLY how I feel! I wasn't pleased at trying to make myself read a book and then its movie adaptation. For the most part I just rooted through my TBR (aka my library books) and tried to match them up with the challenges.
