I knew after I published the post and comments started rolling in on facebook and on the blog that my opinions wouldn't be agreed with a lot, mainly because I stuck to an unwavering line — "no monitoring kid's books EVAR!" But, being homeschooled and growing up in a christian network, like the types you see when you're at work... well, it was a very restrictive environment and I definitely pushed back against that as a kid and now. Anyways, thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I don't blame you for using Six of Crows on so many of your answers. That was one of my top reads of the year and I am now so desperate for the sequel. Kaz is also my latest fictional crush!!! =D The Illustrated HP was good, it was fun to read an illustrated version. But I admit that I am not a fan of the illustrations themselves, as the style just doesn't really work for me. I know I am kind of like the odd one out there.
I LOVE His Dark Materials. I read those when I was a kid and they are still one of my top series of all time. I loved Lyra as a character, and always wanted my very own Pantalaimon.

Great answers!
